Today kicked off Fleet Week in New York City. There aren't as many ships in 2009 but the importance is just as high. The weather was nice for a run and it was enjoyable to dodge tourists running up the Hudson as warships from the United States and Canada steamed by. I saw on the NYC Marathon site that the charities will begin accepting applications in June. I am going to try and run for a charity that supports a firefighter that died on September 11, 2001. All in all my run today felt pretty good.
