Don't you just hate the fact most hotel rooms never have enough outlets to charge all the gadgets you carry with you when you travel? Laptop, mobile phone, iPod, digital camera, etc. There is usually only one outlet and it is tied to some random switch on the wall. Worse than a lack of outlets is thinking you are charging your devices only to find you didn't turn the switch on. What about the one elusive outlet in most airport terminals? Yea, you need it to top off the charge on the iPhone and someone is already hogging it. Well, I have the solution for you!
My friend Dan Taylor introduced me to Outlets To Go 4, an ingenious little device made by the same folks that make Monster Cables. This little device is nothing more than a tiny extension cord that almost fits in the palm of your hand. It plugs into itself and can easily fit in your briefcase or back pack. Not sure if your hotel outlet is charging your devices? Just look at the plug. If it is glowing blue then it is charging your stuff. Very cool.
I couple my Outlets To Go with Brookstone's 6 piece adapter kit for my international travels. They make a great team and keep me fully charged when I am on the road.
What neat travel hacks do you use?
